SPECULATION : Makoun – we did not offer enough wages but MEDICAL and no deal

This time L’Equipe has said we have offered not enough wages.

I really hope this is NOT true ….

Jean Makoun at Aston Villa, it gets stuck. If the two clubs agreed a transfer of 6 million euros together with a possible bonus of $ 3 million, Cameroon has not yet agreed with leaders of the English club. The latter offered him a lower salary than he earns on Lyon says L’Equipe on Friday. For these reasons wage, Aston Villa had to give up recruiting Gueïda Fofana early mercato.

Medical examination this afternoon at Aston Villa Makoun

Although no formal agreement has been signed, the midfielder of Olympique Lyonnais Jean II Makoun will be this afternoon in Birmingham to the traditional medical examination before being returned to Lyon tomorrow.

The two clubs have agreed a transfer of 6 million euros together with a possible bonus of 3 million, but nothing is officially signed with the Lions “and Jean Makoun is still Olympian. His presence against Lorient tomorrow is not confirmed.
And if the player’s salary seems to be a problem in the transaction, this does not prevent him from making today’s return towards Birmingham to undergo the medical. It should however be back tomorrow morning in France and everything should settle down in the weekend.

  1. just heard it only took so long because gh went to monaco to try force through mbokani deal also.

  2. Ha ha what a joke Aston Villa FC is.

    going down

    • WAAAAA!!!!

Exactly what one of your supporters was crying in excitement over on SSN yesterday afternoon. “It would be the biggest day in our club’s history if Villa went down.” LOL, how pathetic can you all get?

Oh btw, odds are the deal will be done by Monday so sit down, be quiet, and get ready to cry your eyes out Sunday when the truth sinks in …

THE SHIT ARE GOING DOWN! THE SHIT ARE GOING DOWN! AND NOW YOU’RE GONNA BELIEVE US! AND NOW YOU’RE GONNA BELIEVE US! AND NOW YOU’RE GONNA BELIEVE US!!! ……… THE SHIT ARE GOING DOWN!!!

Bye bye BCFC, we’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when …….

    • Thank your mum for the anal last night!!!!

    • How am I a Bluenose? Just because I am a realist and can see what a joke we have become.

  3. It could be that because Makoun has not been in England yet we haven’t agreed personal terms? Houllier might have been in France with him but I doubt Faulkner or Randy went with him! Reports say he went alone so it could be that terms aren’t agreed yet because we haven’t discussed terms yet. Remember he’s been in Lyon training this morning too so why would he be talking about possible wages yet? Seems he needed to hear Houllier’s vision for Villa an talk everything over.

    • i hope ur right mate cuz im on edge here, i mean it the derby sunday and now this makoun deal, it doing my nut in

    • He flew over on the Wednesday and did not meet Lyon until yesterday, he also went to Paris so I think he was looking at another deal, no ITK just a guess

  4. We’ll get gim. GH wouldn’t be wasting all this time on a lost cause. If he’s so bothered about the wages, offer him an initial 12 month contract with possibility of increasing if he impresses in that time.

Screw it!! Shall I just sort the transfers myself?!

  5. to the poster earlier SSN confirmed JACK, they like this blog just pick up on the story in the French press.

remeber they had said Kevin Prince Boateng had signed for us ?

  7. Listen to Houllier’s conference, I’ve no doubt Jean Makoun is coming to Villa! Hopefully he will get Sidwell’s number 4.

JEAN MAKOUN MAKOUN, HE COMES FROM CAMEROON, HE’S COMING TO VILLA SOON, JEAN MAKOUN MAKOUN!

  8. Shorey gone, Sidwell gone…..Thats two high earners off the books leaving room for 2 in. Paert of Davies wages paid by Leicester is it? Plus Carew likely to be gone by end of season. There is plenty of wage scope left.

  9. As long as someone 2 foots lee bowyer just above the neck on Sunday I don’t care.
