OFFICIAL – Villa announce new sponsor – FxPro

Aston Villa have announced their new sponsor and it will not surprise anyone who it is

FxPro of course (so leak yesterday was 100% genuine !!) in a three year deal which from the OS

Aston Villa Football Club is pleased to announce our new partnership with FxPro Financial Services Ltd, a leading global retail broker in Forex (foreign exchange) markets and CFDs (‘buyer’ and ‘seller’ contracts).

FxPro will become the club’s principal commercial partner from July 2010 following agreement of a three-year deal – the biggest in the club’s history.

The groundbreaking association between Villa and Acorns – the largest provider of hospice care for life-limited children in the UK – will remain, with Acorns becoming the club’s official charity and FxPro making a strong commitment to supporting our joint endeavours.

The new shirt for next season will be unveiled on July 15 in Birmingham.

And very good news for Acrons, still retaining Official charity status and working with FxPro as well.

Well done to Villa with what seems a good partner with strong links in sport sponsoring Virgin F1 racing and in the World Rally Championship and being totally loyal to Acorns.

Top class from Randy and nothing less than I would have expected.

  1. top class randy thinking of the acorns project .doing fantastic job

  2. totally agree Bob it appears Acorns will be on all official Aston villa stuff alongside FxPro which is also very good of them to give up space

  3. Yes great job with acorns. Does anyone no how much fx pro has paid us for the 3 year deal ??

  4. not been released yet, I am guessing £2m PA, last contract with 32red was less than £1m PA

It has to be remembered that Randy’s background is in the markets

  5. The fact that we are still keeping our ties with Acorns really shows the class of our club…

  6. Yes, keeping the word acorns on the website and replacing them on our shirt with FxPro.

Be more suitable to be sponsored by marmite. The Vile love them but everyone else hates them

  7. 😉 does everyone still think its a photoshop🙂

  8. think they are convinced jesus !

  9. Hello All Again.

I was wondering if any1 knew how Fabian Delph is doing as far as his injury is concerned. I totally forgot about Delph…He will be the player that steps into the breach left by ‘The TRAITOR’. I was reading somewhere that Ashley young could be used in the middle by O’Neill next season..Do u think Young could do a job in the middle or is he better off out on the wing. Personally, i’d like to see Young being employed as a striker to see how he gets on. Didn’t he play that position at Watford?? I know it was championship football but you never know, he could set us alight up front…He has real pace. I’d also love to see us use the 4-3-3 system next season in games. We need to be more attacking in certain games. We need to sign a couple of players who will help us keep possession more in games aswell. That cost us last season b’cos we looked tired in a lot of games b’cos we were chasing after the ball to often.

    Just some thoughts i had….UTV

PS. I am sorry about the bad language in my previous comment. There’s no need for it whatsoever. I get carried away sometimes….sorry……UTV….VILLA 4EVER!!!
