From Villatalk, someone has found the following website selling the New Villa shirt when it has been released

Made with Nike’s DriFit materials to keep players dry and cool, this football shirt includes the teams Sponsor logo, the charity Acorns, as well as styling from the 1980′s were the strip featured a half pin-stripe and half block colour design.
Other features of the new Aston Villa home shirt include the team logo embroidered on the chest, a Nike logo and mesh inserts for improved breathability.
remember the horrible Hummel pyjama pink and red thing of the 2nd division season ?? (OK NIKE are not that bad)
they may have just presumed a copy of the away shirt, I hope so, Villa at home SHOULD NEVER WEAR STRIPES in any form whatsoever
EDIT – 18:00 – Greenz on VT has mocked up the home one based on the away one as per the details in the link, looks OK to me, not quite stripes but very close

Bullring to Bullring – unveiling of the new Villa home shirt
Well expected the unveiling today after the OS in their Posh match report hinted at this but in fact a bit of PR gimmick by the PR department and marketing Birmingham.
Basically two OS reporters, Capt’n Jack Woodward and Paul Brown will be driving 2000 miles from Birmingham Bullring to Malaga Bullring for the Peace cup. When they get there along with Spanish defender Carlos Cuellar the new home shirt will be unveiled on Friday.
You have to say when it comes to shirt unveiling we do do things differently and not just the norm for Villa, just keep us waiting !!

This was released just 45 minutes ago ad I have to say I love it !! something about it is just right, we have always had a white away shirt and this will defintely be brought during the summer. Starts the day we send the Geordies off just about right.
