I remember standing at the back of the holte end in the mid 1970`s, memories that will be with me forever! It was magical, like being on the moon with 28,000 people, the old brick work, the old roof, people packed tightly together, the roar when Villa scored! The new Holte is beautiful, but it will never have the charm and character of the grand old lady of English football

Remember Miggy’s [a Baggie] description when Withe lobbed the winner in ’81 in the dying moments as he stood in the Witton “….as the ball nestled in the goal I remember the dewdrops falling off the net to the ground followed by a deafening wall of noise from the Holte End….” LIONS!

Remember it well Holte End packed visiting fans jelous of the size and the size of the crowd in the Holte End
