Morocco out of the ANC, El Ahmadi back soon

Morocco have just been knocked out of the ANC.

This of course means that Karim El Ahmadi is now available for Villa though Tuesday may be a day or so short. Of course he has hardly made a big impression here and we have to ask will it make a difference.

In numbers terms it does matter, Delph may well be injured for Tuesday bit does he have the quality we need ?

At least it is positive he has been knocked out but my understanding is that he has hardly played anyway. That probably says about the state of the club now we need him back !

  1. The sad thing is in the summer if we stay up we will get 30M for Bent and Benteke but if we go down it wont be more then 20M.. why the FCUK don’t we spend the 10M now and give us a fighting chance in staying up…

This Jan has been crazy.. every day im on the blogs newsnow sites.. it’s taking over my life lol

    • These windows are the spawn of satan, my life ends on january the 1st to return in february. Some of these radio stations and Sports channels rake it in this month i am sure clubs are told to hold back throughout the month so fans are kept interested and advertising revenue goes through the roof. Someones making a lot of money and i bloody well know its not me

  2. I dont fully understand all this ?, Lambert has made claim that Lerner told him to carry on and make do with what we have, ( which is fuck all IMO). Why oh Why dont people make it known that he cannot work with the tools he has. If that was me I would walk away and let the world know what a Wanker Lerner is. It shows you what I have said, the American business moguls are ruthless in business, we have got to let this Yank know we are British and dont stand for prize prats in England. dont go, dont buy, let media know how you feel and then we might save our club from a Alien Yank. Thats my love is Aston Villa and I wish I could just stand in that mans face. ffs.

  3. Lets assume Lerner is fed up of throwing money down the drain. If the figure of 250m that has been outlaid is correct thats equivalent of a 1/4 of his wealth. He interviewed Lambert and said you can have £23 million do with it what you will if you need anymore you will have to generate it from sales. But when it is gone it is gone. Put in to perspective i moan as much as the next bloke but my £500 a year season ticket compared with say Gabbys wages of £60k a week is F all.
Its easy for us to say spend more money cos it isn’t ours.
According to the papers we are the 5th biggest spender over the last 6 years so you would expect us to be in the top 6. The appointment of Mcleish was a disaster but the majority of fans (including myself) was happy with the appointment of Lambert.
Lerner has had no return on his money to date and it would be a catastrophe for him financially and us emotionally if we get relegated but what if he spent big and we still went down where would that put us.
Personally there are times when i wish i just didn’t love this game so much cos to be honest its bloody depressing most of the time. I’ll be on the tablets soon.

  4. He hardly played? He played 2 games out of three, which is not hardly played. Well done twisting reality again to make everything seem a bit more shit. I commend your obsession with doom.

  5. Sissoko will destroy us tonight

  6. Excellent web site. A lot of helpful info here. I am sending it to a few pals ans additionally sharing in delicious. And obviously, thank you in your sweat!
