It does seem like certain players do just what they want and because we keep on sacking managers they will continue to do so. if lambert is sacked or not sacked i would never pick a number of those players ever again they should not be allowed to wear that shirt.
Bannan has to go, Clark is not fit to wear the shirt, herd can only tackle, Lichaj gave the ball away twice in the first five minutes. Delph seems to start looking good then always gets injured. darren bent scores a goal every other game but does nothing else. ireland is useless and is not fit to wear a football shirt from any team he should be banned from football. Bennet is shit, never thought it would be possible to say he is actually worse than Warnock

Any of you read the papers today seems like Newcastle have signed another player we were linked to Sissoko .So what our chances now on Tuesday we relegated them now they are going to do the same to us.So no positives at all.

No one even said spend big, new blood could have freshened up the squad and added a bit of experience in the middle. Best example I can think of is karagounis at Fulham. Massively experienced central midfielder, who has performed great for them, and he was dirt cheap signing just to add a little quality for a season or two.
I do blame Lerner and you only have to look at the browns to see how awful he is at running sports teams (ten years of utter failure). However lambert had £20 million in the summer, and the only central midfielder he bought is a headless chicken, to add to our other rubbish centre mids. Personally it looks like the confidence of the team is broken. Lambert needs to go, however the bulk of the first team need to go. These players are a disgrace to their profession.
There has been loads of abuse aimed at Lambert, Lerner and Faulkner (and rightfully so!) but the players should also take some responsibility. The word ‘kids’ has been used to describe them, but let us not forget that a lot of them are 23/24 years old, so in terms of a footballers career it is not that young. If they were 16/17 year olds breaking through then fair enough.
Just look at the young lad Shaw at Southampton, he’s 17 and miles better than the likes of lowton/ bennett who are 5 or so years older than him.
Our players are simply not good enough and the academy is nowhere near the level we thought. Don’t know whose idea this ‘academy project’ was, but the board need to realise we are not ajax, barcelona or athletic bilbao, there is very little quality and depth from the players that have come through

Not got too much knowledge on the NFL, but I believe they finished bottom on several occasions under Randolph’s stewardship. That has given us an interesting insight into the direction we are heading- down, down, deeper and down.
The difference is in nfl u can’t be relegated so lambert would finish bottom every season. This is why American chairman have tried to get relegation from prem to be banned to protect their investment. This is y Lerner bought bent if there was no relegation he would never have signed him.
