Yesterday was the perfect example of the disease that has been within our club the past three seasons.
How many games have we controlled from first minute to last minute ? How many games did you feel from the first ten minutes a Villa win was inevitable and would happen ?
The answer would be very few over the last few seasons because it seems we can not simply put two good halves together. Yesterday was THE perfect example of this wasn’t it ? The first half we were dominant for it and controlled the game. Now of course Delph got injured in another of his stupid challenges and the whole game changed.
Why and how can this happen, at Half Time did Lambert really tell them to go defensive. West Brom may have forced us some what but the panic was there for all to see. Delph had his best half for us and yet we could not adjust to losing him. Is inconsistency because of panic, because the managers are not clear, because we aare not good enough ?
Or is the fact we are losing too many second half goals because we are not fit enough and why not ?
Why so many injuries since MON left when it was said we did not do a lot of fitness training under him ?
Besides a lot of players have come in since those days and they get injured, why is that ?
Until we find this consistency in games, where we can close them out, where we do not panic, where we control it then we will always be looking downwards.
Is there a simple answer to it more than younger players and not good enough or something far deeper within the club ?

I think if we were looking we would have got a sniff of something by now, those pillaging agents would have let slip to the media and Faulkner would have told the girls down at Greggs when he orders his pies at lunch.
Or maybe, just maybe, we are going to be surprised, although wont hold my breath!
JD thats old news mate seen that on other sites three days ago Lambert as totaly lost the plot.Randy won;t sack him because he was the choice of what i call the LAMBERT,S LEMMINGS so is that why today certain papers are hinting at the club employing a Technical Director of Football to work above Lambert.
