Southampton are total fools. There fans should boycott the club for a manager who can not speak English, sacked because he was bottom of the league and probably shares agents with the owners, is it corrupt you bet !!
Now of course from a Villa point of view it is very very good news, this basically will mean Southampton finish below us. However as today’s pre match conference has shown faith in Lambert is draining out at a fast rate.
In the press conference Lamber has said soft words on not being relegated. Basically summed up as, ‘we will be OK’, ‘do not worry’. This was the kind of thing we heard from MCleish, it is a big delusion of course because he said he had faith in THIS squad but seems to be holding a lot of hope in Dunne.
Anyone who thinks we will add to this squad in any significant way now you may join the deluded gang and we have what we have.

The only way we won’t be humiliated again tomorrow is if the game is called off. At least we can delay the inevitable thrashing that is coming our way.

Looks like it’ll be another scrap in the last 10 minutes of the transfer window-madness. however, at least zog is back which should add more experience. should have no excuse but to win on Saturday, because everyone in the squad that we need is FIT, including vlaar, bent, Dunne etc. so if we don’t win, then Randy Lerner really needs to invest and fast. keep going lambert, there’s still faith. Also paul, why isn’t Holman being used in his right position-on the wing to provide width? Sacking Adkins is THE MOST FOOLISH Thing that Southampton board could have done–they were only just getting good (phewww)hehe. they’ll go down, with reading, and Wigan/qpr (I hope, because qpr disgusts me because of the way they’re buying)!

Well from what he said today, at the very most we will bring in a cheap central midfielder or centre back. If this is the case, he better choose wisely.
I know very little about the set-up at Saints, but given the way things have been shaping up for them recently, this seems an odd decision on the face of it. Saints seemed to have made the adjustment to the top-flight; they looked increasingly organised and motivated under their gaffer, a much better side than us, truth to tell. That’s football, I guess.
