I have thought long and hard about writing this article. Yes it is another negative article but please remember I have wrote many a positive article when we did well but enough is enough.
Simply put I have had more than enough of the way this club is being run from the chairman down to the manager. How dI’d it get this bad? Why has the club not only stagnated but have also gone backwards?
All the posts on this blog and other forums have been about us accepting the inevitable-relegation. My question is why should we accept this? Why are we not voting with our pockets and boycotting merchandise etc?
And it gets worse. Not only are we likely to go down because of our clueless manager and chairman the consequences are much worse. Not only do we go out of the elite league in which we founded but we lose £60m in Sky money. Potentially this could put us back years and we could end up being the new Leeds!
Another question we should all be asking is in the unlikely event we did stay up then what? It will be the same again next season and the season after unless Lerner sells. Why are we all prepared to spend good money and put up with this for the foreseeable future?
It is an absolute folly that Lambert is still in a job when he is actually a worse manager than AM. The facts do not lie we are technically 9 points worse of than last season if you include goal difference. Everyone around us is improving whilst Lerner and Lambert have virtually given up. Lambert looks like AM did last season a broken man who has no idea what to do about this situation. For god’s sake Lerner put him out of his misery and get rid. Yes we will struggle to get a decent manager but only Lerner could appoint a manager worse than AM.
The death knell is sounding for this great club of ours it is a tragic death and one we should all mourn.

So I’m assuming the players we are after are the type that go in the last few days of the window.. And before someone jumps on it.. I’m well aware we needed players in from the first week of Jan.. Stevie Wonder even knew that.. I’m just trying to make sense of it and that’s the only rational theory I can come up with..

How many of the links in the summer did we actually buy? They all came out of nowhere. Links mean nothing. Think about it. Think how many people and how much money is required to be sorted for a deal to go through. How many clubs are in for certain players and how much a player, knowing they are wanted by a few clubs, are going to be adding to their wage demands.

I want Lambert to bring in a small amount of experience just to firm up until the end of the season, then review the situation once we’ve established our place either in top flight or at a level below.
Lionheart: I think we will see a couple of signings, but I don’t think they will be quality, we all know January prices become inflated, and agents screw the clubs with high wage requirements and get out clauses.
I wish we could all keep the faith, but it is hard under the circumstances.

Mate Lerner as done some good spent a lot of money and made a lot of mistakes along the way with some of his appointments.But for me i think his biggest mistake so far as been to listen to a certain section of fans i was not one of them but was willing to give PL the beniefiit of the doubt.But am beginning to think that Lerner and us fans are going to live to regret it in the long term.If PL is allowed to carry on then the future of our great club is going to be in jepeody .Something needs to be done weather it be Randy sell the club or get rid of PL before it;s to late.
