I don’t know where Craig Kemp of Ladbrokes has got this from, but he seems to be suggesting that Aston Villa have agreed a fee with Charlton for attacking midfielder Dale Stephens. He goes on to suggest that it’s just down to agreeing personal details with the player himself.
Maybe suggestions that his signing is imminent could be true after all?
The article also goes on to talk about Manchester City player Scott Sinclair coming in on loan.
He’s another attacking midfielder, so something doesn’t sound right here to me.
Personally, I thought the priority was a defensive midfielder, but I suppose we do need someone in the middle to join up the attack.
However, the real surprise in the article is his comment that suggests that young Ashley Westwood is out for three months with an ankle problem. That’s the first I’ve heard about that one and that’s a real blow.
It’s all speculation of course, but then, we also know that the bookies are never very far off the mark, don’t we?
Rumour going around that Fulham have bid £8mil + Hangeland for Bent. Hangeland’s contract is up at end of the season so would make sense. Personally, I think that this would be a great deal for us as he is a solid, experienced CB and would help sure the defence up. Also, we could spend that £8mil on Aubameyang to replace Bent
Hangeland or Olsson frm WBA would add much neede solidity to our thin defence.. this adding to Bakers and Vlaar retuern should shape us nicely to push for a mid table finish.

I think we should just shoot Delph. He’s just the worst player in our team yet his picked week in week out and for the life of me I don’t know why. I’ve never seen a player give the ball away in dangerous situations as much as Delph, plus he can’t pass there over hit under hit or he just simply passes it to the other team. Villa can’t move forward until he’s out. It wouldn’t surprise me if we sold him for 200k to blues.

I’d deny that we signed Hutton anytime. Better to give him a free transfer and payoff than have him back. Same for Warnock although I see that Big Sandra is in for him at Wham.
