Well the news today on both fronts was disappointing and surprising.
Of course dear Harry is innocent of all charges and Capello really had to go once his authority was taken out. However it is almost certain in most people’s eyes that ‘arry will get the England job. If that happens then it is likely that Darren Bent can say good bye to the chance of summer football.
We will remember what Arry said about Bent and how he tried to push him out of spurs at the first chance. The only other Villa player with a chance of England is of course Gabby but that looks unlikely unless he can recapture his form of the Autumn.

If Redknapp takes over it will be interesting to see who he goes for up front. He doesn’t usually play Defoe in his own team, he released Crouch who has done little since. Not many outstanding English candidates and he doesn’t seem to buy that many english players.
