I kicked myself up the arse (for leaving early, I very rarely did it) and legged it down to the Holte end to watch the rest

Classic, Shaun Teale – Legend! I was about 12 when we won the League Cup that year. I Remember the Final was on my Birthday and I had a few mates staying over that night. One of my mates was a red and he cried when we won. My mum had to phone his mum to get him picked up cos he was being a stroppy little twat.
