So the window on lets face it a weird one for us, closes in less than 5 days and so what can we expect.
Well it is almost certain baring a failed medical that Luke Young is off and thus it is expected by many Alan Hutton to follow. This is of course based on the one in and one out principle we have seen for a while now.
However there are some intriguing aspects to come and some interesting developments. The window overall has been quiet for most clubs, it is clear the lack of money is for the majority and not minority. so how can we be involved ?
Well the first one is will Gary Cahill leave for arsenal and enough money for our sell on fee to get around £2M. If so how could we use this money ? Is it possible for example as Blues HAVE to sell Dann that he will go for a very very cheap price (with the window closure looming) and with the £2m we could get the money together for him and allow say Cuellar to go ?
Do we expect anymore to leave as it is clear we need an extra body as either a winger or Central Midfielder. Is there a loan deal to be had there but players like SWP and Parker now appear to have gone elsewhere.
Or simply after we sign Hutton as I expect that is it ?
We could be involved in one of the transfer circles, yet to complete.

you do understand that hereford is a league 2 team in religation battle? if he struggles in that game what makes you think he can cope in premier league, he is a piece of shit and has done nothing for the club but suck it dry of money, but like you said thats not his fault, its MONS for signing him.

Our biggest single weakness (limited squad being a collective one) is a pure defensive midfielder who breaks up play, doesn’t get outmuscled and wins the ball back before giving it to others. Hogg seemed to me (of all the youngsters who got a chance last season) as the closest to this we had in reserve. I hope he stays even if we buy/loan an experienced player of this type in the last few days of the window.
As he’s gone now I’m also hoping for a loan. Aim for one of all the Real Madrid DMF’s.
I think 3mil for swp is a good deal aslong as his wage demands aren’t too high, speedy and skillfull, could be the type of player to maybe steal a 1-0 or 2-1 wins here and there. But I doubt mcleish will bid tbh

Don;t laugh but Ridgewell could go for as low as £1M which is again under his value by a good £2-3M at least (he is much better than when at us) but don;t think we are in despite some rumours.
Dann is a good player and may be available at a decent price, We have Dunne, Collins, Cuellar, Clartke, Herd and maybe even Baker as cover. I don’t think that would be a best use of what cash we have available. Much prefer spend it on DM, a wide player alternative to NZog/Albrighton or another forward

This is the first time I’ve heard we have a sell on clause for Cahill, and I’m not sure you have that right. Only Rangers were in for Cuellar and having failed to ensure european football they’ve ended their interest (at least for this season). There’ll be minimal funds from the sale of Young and Hogg, but probably enough to part fund Hutton with Randy releasing the remaining funds needed to land him. Apart from that can’t see much coming in.

Expect with Arsenal in frame they would pay 6-8M if Wenger a fan. A greater attraction for the player and they are more in need. Spend the money elsewhere (if we have any!)

after not making last week and reading and seeing the first three games i thought; maybe i was wrong. So i was looking forward to going to see villa today, possibly some excitement and atmosphere and allegedly exciting football. What i seemed to have done was step into a time portal to the late 80′s mixed with a bit of bolton.
