Basically he says that agents have been brought in (Wasserman Group by any chance ??) to get rid of so called deadwood like Cuellar, Luke Young, Makoun and Beye.
I would argue that some of these are not ‘DEADWOOD; and Luke young has actually been very good so far. In fact as his contract is up why rush ? Well the clue is yet more links to Hutton and clearly young would have to go for Hutton to come in, a mistake I think as I do not rate Hutton at all. Of course in this piece the inevitable link to scott Parker is being mentioned.
Of course it is totally clear we have to sell to buy and hence the stuff about Darron Gibson was rubbish (thank god, he is rubbish). However no one denies we do not need more in the squad but it is looking very difficult at the moment if the wage limit can not be lifted a little.
