Dunne in Cowans bust up and Collins to return

Now this does not surprise me at all that this has come out.

In fact with my previous post it is bloody obvious more was going to come out because someone at Villa is determined that it will. James Nursery at the Mirror has this labelled as an EXCLUSIVE and it is very damaging for Dunne.

Cowans is an absolute legend at VP of all the people Dunne could ‘abuse’ in terms of popularity he could not have picked a worse one from his perspective. Also of course it is the one name designed to make sure most fans are against Dunne. I mean who could not be after having a go at Sid, one of the best ever players at Villa.

Ask yourself as I previously posted who is leaking this and why ?

The Sun have had their say and simply report that Collins will be available for Wolves if fit, which is very good news as we are struggling as Luke Young is not fit now.

  1. It would be quite clever if one of us managed to put up a site like this ‘Bluenose news and views” and pretended to have the clubs interests at heart – as a trojan horse kind of thing to wind up the support

  2. Sorry if that was below the belt. I am sure Ian cares passionately about Villa I just don’t like the skewed point of view that admittedly comes from more than just him, it just seems dangerously damaging this vendetta against Houllier. I am genuinely worried that somehow the angst and negativity might have a real impact and it is a shame.

As someone said: since the transfer window out form has been one of a team pushing for Europe. To side with a volatile piss head like Dunne and use it as something to twist the knife further into Houllier seems so illogical. There were problems at the club before Houllier, why can’t some people see he is sorting them out and the problem people – the overpaid players throwing their prams out because they are blatantly on their way out or because they are being pushed too hard – THEY are the ones to blame and they have no future at the club anyway. They know it we know it.

Bluenose news and views would be an interesting experiment though

    • (throwing their toys out)

      • Rolta, being furious when Blues win does not make him passionate about Villa.

He turns on the manager at every opportunity, he defends the troublemakers who have absolutely have no regards for the Villa; he constantly tries to discredit the club’s integrity by publishing his endless conspiracy theories.

On the evening that Villa thrashed Blackburn, and it looked like we had moved towards safety; he threatened to close down the blog. Why?

He didn’t close it down and was very soon firing into the club again.

Then out of the blue, after the Bolton game, and following a 6 month vendetta, he eventually published a semi-positive article “Back Houllier because there is no choice.”

We have not even kicked a ball since he published that article, but everyone has read the barrage of venomous comments he has again started aiming at the Villa manager; in addition to his latest bout of shit-stirring in claiming that Aston Villa FC are organising the leaking of trash to the tabloids.

        • Spot on…. I could not agree more. ianrobo shows no regard for this great club and is more concerned with his ever more absurd attacks on club officials. I too hoped he would keep his promise to stop posting but I guess he doesn’t have the honour.

        • Dudley I’m so glad others are seeing what I see from this site. I was doubting myself for a bit, but guys like you have re affirmed my suspicions. So Thanks. UTV

          • agree with all of you guys. rolta, it was me that mentioned the post transfer-window form. miffedvillain, I think there’s plenty of us that are seeing things ‘rationaly’ to quote rolta last night; don’t worry, you’re not alone. The problem is ian is pissing in the spring and too many people are lapping it up.

The sooner we get safe the better. I’m quite looking forward to the summer and next season. I think GH is the highest calibre manager we’ve had for a long time. Yes, he’s about as charismatic as a dog’s arsehole, but it doesn’t matter. He’s a football manager. If Randy wanted PR he’d have bought in Max Clifford or fuckin Alistair Campbell.

Too many so called supporters are taking everything personally. They just refuse to see the bigger picture. As for ianrobo, never mind ‘glass half empty’, he’s smashed all his glasses to smithrines.

What can we do? Sounds ridiculous but like I said the other night, if we show strong and visible support for the gaff, I think people will sit up and take notice. I’m thinking a french flag hung over the Holte End or something! (half kidding here)

  3. He should be sacked who ever he had a go at, they are the management whether anybody likes it or not. I really rate Dunne when he is on form but this is unacceptable on all levels and not just because it was Sid.

Twice he has been reported to have had a spat with the management team Villa should just tear his contract up and tell him to go kick a ball in someone elses field no excuses what so ever

    • I am an admirer of Dunne’s play on the pitch when he is on his game. I am becoming increasingly discouraged by his off the pitch shenanigans and obvious weakness for the “manna from heaven”. He’s a drunk and a mean one at that. If you can’t handle your liquor you need to give it a rest. Put him in rehab while he’s injured and dry his ass out.

  4. Boo Hoo Ian is picking on Houllier. Come off it.

Houllier has brought all this crap on himslef with shit results, gutless performances, embarrassing behaviour, disrespecting supporters, throwing games, and not taking responsibility for what are clearly his failings choosing to blame the players or the past incumbent of his job who in comparison was a success.

You really think Houllier would be gettign stick had he have won a reasonable amount of games and acted in a professsional manner.

Houllier has no respect for the supporters and certainly hasn’t earned their respect with the tripe we have had to put up with since his unfortunate arrival.

    • It’s pointless trying to rationalise with you so here is a black and white nailed-on fact for you to chew over. Gerard Houllier will be manager of Aston Villa next season unless we get relegated.

      • Dudley Villan, you’re wasting your breath mate. Maybe we should start our own proper SUPPORTERS forum and let these fruits tear tear themselves apart with their relentless vitriole against what is supposed to be the club they love.

I just don’t get it. Yes people, things are not perect at the moment, we know that, but GET BEHIND THE FUCKING BOSS! Like dudley said, he’s here to stay. I’m not saying you have to buy him a pint down the pub, just SUPPORT THE MAN IN CHARGE, PLEASE!! If we all do that, everything will fall into place. Houllier has barely laid the foundations of what he wants to build, but you lot keep wrecking things like bullies on the beach jumping on kid’s sandcastles before they’ve finished.

Fuck it, I’m out of metaphors for one night…

        UTV

        • Thanks guys, UTV.

Tony, I know I am wasting my breath, and I now have given up trying to get through to them. That does not mean I am going to allow a single one of them to get away with disrespecting our club (well apart from one who is merely Ian’s echo.)

We’ve got 9 games left and we will have plenty of ups and downs before it’s all over; as I see it every Villa fan has to choose 1 of 3 options.

          1. Get behind GH and the players who want to play for Villa; and stay with them until the final whistle on the last day of the season.
          2. Don’t openly support GH but stop moaning and trying to turn fans against him, at least until the season is over
          3. Keep up the negative mood, GH vendetta, shit stirring and Houllier Out campaign; and then intensify it every time something goes wrong.

Now it’s not rocket science to see which one of those actions is going to do most harm to Aston Villa’s fight to stay in the Premier League, is it? But no doubt some will carry on putting their own pathetic little agendas before the interests of the club they claim to support. Villa fans; my backside.

          UTV

    • what bollocks some speak, I am a bluenose, talk about being desperate in your argument that proves you have lost.

nevermind must be a bloozer, I mean those pieces I did on them slagging them off were designed to cover the fact (where is rolly eyes emoticon)

Never mind the holte enders in the sky tat I have, must be totally desperate to prove that …

so getting away from the bollocks the plain fact is a number of Villa fans blame MON for all this despite the last season, wondered if they moaned when Milner put us one up at Wembley ?

somehow they are so desperate to think it is not Houllier’s fault at all it is all MON’s.

      so lets get this straight

MON was WRONG to leave when he did

But Randy was WRONG not to realise the relationship had broken down earlier and parted with ‘mutual consent’

Houllier came into a situation that needed kid gloves but was under orders IMHO to get as rid of the high wage earners ASAP so he did not care and went headlong into changing everything straight away.

(except the defence of course !)

As anyone who has seen a change of management at work, those who take it slow and steady tend to be more successful. For example our MD changed one year ago, we did not see a single change until 9 months later and guess what no one moaned because we knew he had took his time.

Richard DUNNE was totally WRONG if the problems occurred as reported and should be discplined as per club procedures

but not to make an example of him because believe or not he may actually be popular amongst his team mates.

      • have we lost the argument ianrobo? really? really ian? what fucking argument is that then? the argument that everything you post is negative? or the argument that you never say anything positive?

who are you to tell Houllier how to manage anything? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Maybe something will get throught to your bone-head. LOOK AT HOULLIER’S FUCKING RECORD. GIVE HIM A FULL FUCKING SEASON. IF, AND THAT’S A MASSIVE IF, YOU TRULY LOVE THE VILLA, USE THIS FUCKING SITE FOR POSITIVE MEANS, MAYBE THEN WE CAN ALL PULL IN THE SAME DIRECTION AND HAVE SUCCESS.

        UTV

    • Mark, well said. Everybody who is critizing GH gets some abuse of Dudley Villan. I don´t know why he is acting so it looks as he has appointed him. Whatsoever, your points are absolutely right!

      • I have given no one abuse.

Criticism is all well and good if it’s balanced. I resent the relentless hysterical insults aimed at the Villa manager (even moreso that theyare from Villa fans) and if you read the comments you will see I am not in the minority.

Houllier has, one by one, signed 8 of our young players long term contracts. And one by one these kids (the future of Aston Villa) have come out and praised how well they get on with the Villa manager; not just once but virtually a new positive comment every week

Has there been any mention of that?

Sid Cowans coming out last week smiling from ear to ear saying how much he and everyone is enjoying the new coaching style and the future is going to be great because of GH’s pass and move football. Some fans are more interested in Dunne’s opinions.

Makoun, Walker, Cuellar, Downing and others saying they are very happy at the club (no articles about that on here). 4 Villa players in the England under 21s (including Baker) announced yesterday; need I go on?

But the anti-GH lot do not want to acknowlege any of that; so like I said to Mark it’s pointless rationalising with them.

Bottom line to all Villa fans; GH is here to stay unless we get relegated.

  5. Dunne can go because he is passed his best.Played like he didn’t want to know at wembley last year.Has not filled us with confidence this year. In any occupation, troublemakers are never accepted and he will be gone next season. Houlliers first signings must be 2 commanding centre backs, signed early so that they bed UTV

  6. Stevo Holte Boy – love the irony of using the word ‘passed’ in a sentence about Richard Dunne.

  7. [...] Dunne in Cowans bust up and Collins to return Now this does not surprise me at all that this has come out. [...] [...]

  8. So it wasn’t anything to do with Duverne then Ian?

Funny how you was happy to ‘guess’ that Duverne was involved and bandy that about, but now its come out that Dunne abused Cowans, now you’re alluding to the idea that they’re only using Cowans name to turn favour against Dunne.

It probably never has occured to you, or ever will, that you’re an idiot.

    You probably think you’re normal.

  9. Villa Nut

I should have said he’s pissed not passed – get rid as AVFC need better

  10. Villa even bottled the fine they wanted…. French to the core
