I told you that Charles Sale is a journo to be trusted.
He has posted this
FX Pro: This sponsorship issue (the end of contract with FX Pro) took place awhile back. Not sure why the papers just picked up on it. It is probably not a good idea to go into what has transpired other than to say that we will be paid throughout this season and that we already have sponsorships on the table. The issue did NOT have anything to do with our performance on the Pitch. We do not expect our shirts to be out late again.
Making it quite clear what has happened and he says a ‘while back’ well we were not told, was this so people would buy the new shirts, too cynical ?? This is a very unusual situation when someone cancels THAT early into a contract so what was it that caused this ?
are FXPro in money worries ?
He confirms talks underway
we already have sponsorships on the table
So who will it be this time and the key question, less or more money ?
Aston Villa News 24/7
Carlsberg for me (Liverpool old days), if it makes Houllier feel more at home and get better results then get the deal done! lol
“Making it quite clear what has happened and he says a ‘while back’ well we were not told, was this so people would buy the new shirts, too cynical ?? ”
Way cynical, Ian. I don’t expect the club to come out and announce, “FxPro has cancelled its contract with Villa.”
well VFT , the general is ‘surprised’ the press did not pick up on it earlier, would have looked really bad say at Xmas ??
jsut sounds like to me they hoped ot keep it under cover and it got blown, it was not even rumoured anyway that this deal was over
not even MM
Hmm, lucky i didn’t buy this years shirt then. I just hope we don’t get a rubbish sponsor, but not a common one either.
all that matters is max money, that is what we need
I would like to see LG on our shirts. I don’t know why, but I’ve always liked seeing them for some reason when they sponsored Fulham. Or now that Burnley are down, Samuel Cooke & Co.
LG???
That’s one shit brand, imo.

“Not sure why the papers just picked up on it. It is probably not a good idea to go into what has transpired”
Suggests to me that this revolves around the late shirt debacle, in that the story is way behind the facts.
I’m not bothered anyway.
I’d never heard of them , contrary to a previos post that I should know them through their F1 sponsorship, even though I watch that too.
Get someone we’ve heard of, imo.
And not the pricks who’ve helped fuck our economy up
“And not the pricks who’ve helped fuck our economy up” – hear, hear!!!
It always seemed a bit ‘odd’ that the same sponsor did deals with two competing PL teams at the same time – can’t immediately think of another one [Emirates ?] off the top of my head.
The only important thing now from the Club’s perspective is the value of the next deal, whoever it’s with.
From a personal perspective, I’d prefer it to be something other than an on-line betting shop!
it is more likely to be that than anyone else
blue chips not interested without any reasonable prospect of CL
money for sport sponsorship is all being targetted at the top teams
the rest of us on scraps
Not helped by the very small number of big companies still owned or based locally…
Never was too fond of FXPro anyway.. Not sure why, just didn’t seem to like the look!
Would like to see Angel Springs sponsor us tbh, I’ve seen their watercoolers around Villa Park and some players with the water bottles so they already must have some connection. Plus I like their logo
Should get the play boy mansion to sponsor. Maybe get a full picture on the front of the kit.
As long as its not Wonga.com.
I loved the Acorns deal although i know we need a paying sponsor. I’d like a brand on the home and acorns on the away but for that to be worth the sponsors money we’d have to commit to wearing the home shirt x times in the year. Say…. 32?
I should imagine Fx Pro are struggling in the economy right now and have more to do with this change. They have probably relaised that the average joe who watches Aston Villa aint gonna use their share dealing services or move £500,000 sterling into dollars after the game and have re thought their marketing strategy. Shit partnership from the start. My shout is a car manufacturer (heard a whisper)
“And not the pricks who’ve helped fuck our economy up” Thats right, because anyone who has anything to do with financial services is responcible for the financial situation…. I couldn’t be any less apathetic to this, really couldn’t care less whos on our shirt. (Unless it’s Acorns, but guess that won’t happen again sadly)
“I should imagine Fx Pro are struggling in the economy” Actually, I work in a similar industry to FX Pro, you may find that the market volatility is actually good news for them as they make money out of each transaction irrespective of if the client makes or loses money, therefore the more volatile the market the more people will try and spend there way back in to profit. Thats whats happening in our industry (online stock broker) it’s only the investors themselves that are struggling compared to 3 years ago.
Now could he confirm whether the deal with Nike has been ended? If so, i wouldnt mind a claret and blue adidas jersey next season!
IMO it will be a deal with nanjing autos, they are re-starting some production at Longbridge and what better way to advertise the fact than a Rover or MG logo on a Premier league teams shirt, not for the 1st time either!
Not a bad shout TBF. Local to the Villa and someone said he “heard a whisper” of a car manufacturer. I’m not to fussed who’s on the shirt TBH as long as we get maximum income

http://ecnbroker.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2 about fxpro and a lot of troubles give to customers and partners. They are not serious at all. It’s a bug of EU and US legislation about market making licenses perhaps managed with the use of illegal software to cheat customers with the consent of corrupted securities commissions.
