Short piece but in today’s press conference Houllier has confirmed Carew in talks with West Brom and Bridge in talks with Villa about the loan.

No matter what I or anyone else says fans or the media if Houllier was not going after Sunderland then I think Randy will simply stick by him until the end of this season.
