The Mirror also have some really good news on Delph. He has been told to slow down his training (even started ball work) as he is going too quickly, this is real positive news as it sounds the lad is really keen and could be like a new signing 
but I rate the kid and he could be stunning for us.

Plus, is it really random? He’s not french, not many people have heard of him so could it not be true that we are linked to him and Houllier does like him? It’d make sense if he played in Ligue 2 but in Serie B? Kind of hard not to believe it in all honesty.

Yes to Delph, but I will still need convincing of Reo’s ability to pass a ball well enough for him to be a top player.

Not heard of this guy but that does not mean he is not any good. His stats may look good but there is a hell of a difference between Serie B and the the Prem.
I think Delph could play the role that NRC is currently playing but has more quality on the ball and in the final 3rd that NRC.
Totally agree on Coker. Whats the point in winning the ball back if you just give it away again! Delph should take his place when fit!

Delph will give petrov and reo some much needed competition. Can see delph and reo playing 2 gether. We still hav hot prospect gardner as well, which I rek will spell the end 4 sidwell once they are both fit. We have a very strong looking nucleus of young talent itching 2 get through and with houls willingness to use them things can only look bright . Clark, bannan, Albrighton, delph, gardner, weiman, fonz. I think if we by an experienced clinical predator poacher then we can make use of the good chances we are getting. The style of football also looks 2 be improving as wel as the coaching methods( fitness work and pass and move) x

O and to all you coker bashers wa u on. With out him this season Are midfield would be battered every game. He has the athlecism for his defensive role. He bursts foward and also causes problems for other teams. He is not the best passer in the team but put neither is cuellar . Reo was out in cold last season and is already showing his heart 4 the game and a huge amount of improvement whichbi think sithbtime, more matches and the boost of confidence he is receiving he will Improve even still. There is no other alternative at thecmo anyway. I like petrov but for a makeshift defensive midfielder I don’t think he is as good as coker.petrov always passes back puttin more pressure on us at back and ge cnt last a full game and he no as energetic as reo. No one is bashing Reo, just stating that he lacks the ability to take us much further than we are now. He has undoubted quality when it comes to work rate, but not when it comes to threading a killer ball etc. I have watched him this year, and can see an obvious improvement, however, his passing is often very safe (sometimes) ie; sideways or backwards. The stats don’t lie, 1 goal in 96 appearences.
Totally agree with Barry’sboots, the few fans who say that Nigel Reo Coker wins the ball then gives it back to the opposition clearly have not watched the same performances as the rest of us. He always makes himself available and rarely misplaces a pass. Yes he has made last ditch tackles; but he has also won possession many times on his feet and then quickly started off moves with a sharp pass or burst forward with the ball.
Petrov is the centre midfielder that is holding us back. He is slow, tired, dwells on the ball and falls over at every challenge hoping for a foul (which he often used to get but not any more). He would not get into the centre midfield in any other Prem side let alone be captain.
NRC is twice the player and leader he is, I think Fabian Delph and NRC could be a top combination next season and be a match for any opposing centre mid.
no chance DV, Delph I rate highly but NRC is no better than good mid table central midfielder and I doubt he will even get a new contract as we would have to increase wages and that will not happen and he will get a large signing on fee elsewhere
we will have an influx of french based players and the whole culture of our club is about to change, for the better we will see
NRC can not do tippy tappy football and that is where we are heading
