Well on VT we have this from ‘GingerCollins29′
Apologies for my lack of response. I’ve had a lot of things on.
Mr. Lerner prefers to be discreet with these things, which is why there has not been a sniff.
Unfortunately if I mention a name, then I will be liable. However the new manager has managed at International Level before, and one of his targets has played under him. I maintain still that the manager will be revealed within the media on Thursday, with an official press conference on Friday. There are 3 main transfer targets, a defender, a midfielder (this is the player that has worked under the new manager), and a striker. Deals for the midfielder and the striker will be completed prior to the Everton game, whereas there has been a delay on the defender deal due to wages. Unfortunately I cannot confirm when this player will join.
Well this could be total BS and an attention seeker of course and you fit the names – Bob and Bradley into this with the name Mark and Bradley into this ‘story’ with no problem !!
It is not Roy Keane of course !
So go have some fun and guess other than the Bradley’s !!
Of course the poster has said he HAS managed in the past tense and Bradley is still US manager – just ….
Aston Villa News 24/7
It can Carl so hence lets keep cool on this
An educated guess is that it will be Ottmar Hitzfeld.
Hitzfeld, Sven, Bradley, Hoddle, Venables, McLaren, Bilic….
When an in the know narrows it down to at least 7 candidates, i tend to think it’s attention seeking lies.
Lots of insults from cyber fans at the various suggestions; but it’s what the real fans feel that matters.
The vast majority of us will get 100% behind the club, the chairman and the new manager, whoever he may be.
And btw a lot of you outraged people watching on the box tomorrow might be very surprised at the reception KM will get.
Yeah… All of us Cyber fans from outside of England can’t be real fans can we?
Of course you can be a real fan and you are. but some on here are just spouting endless negative stuff.
we all know we are in a messy situation. the manager walked out on us without warning 5 days before kick-off. The club needs unity now more than ever to get through this, not a stream of sarcastic remarks and nasty comments from our own supporters.
And tomorrow once again, the real fans wherever they are in the world will give their loyal backing to the club, Randy and the manager.
UTV
I reckon it’s Mick McCarthy
Mick son being Benni……..lol
i went to the ticket office today and no one seems to want to be in the holte end
why?
so its bob bradley then and his son will be coming to VP who we have scouted since MON took over
Wank!
Ericsson? Sounds like it could be him :/
i went to VP today and saw David Beckham with Randy having a Mcdonalds, went to Bham after and saw Victoria viewing a house in Habdsworth!
I’ve heard from a very reliable source that Massimo Bonini has been offered the role.
Matteo Bugli will be the first player into the club. He’ll be the first Winger / Janitor in the Premier League. The manager is a big admirer of Heskey and plans to employ him alongside Bugli on the Sunday morning tidy up.
In defence, Bugli has persuaded Lerner that it’s worth spending again (even though two weeks ago everyone accepted there were too many defenders). After the years of “Lerner’s Millions” under Martin O’Neill, there isn’t much to spend so we’ve persuaded Ken Monkou to dust off those old shinpads for one last shot at Premiership glory.
But there’s more. Who’s this at the gates of Villa Park clutching his mobile phone and degree from Northumbria University but old Ali Dia. He’s told Bugli about the old glory days when he was top scorer for Southampton and set up his cousin George Weah to win the Africa Cup. He’s not only going to start against Everton but he’s meeting Randy Lerner after the match to discuss a new pyrimid scheme he’s heard about from Gen. Lawrence Baringa who recently contacted him by email…
Hitzfeld is now 23/1 with Betfair, and I have heard that another bookie took quite a large punt on him today.
Not saying he’s going to get it, but there must be some truth in him being at the Rapid game last week and at least being on the short-list for interview next week.
Not sure if this has been pointed out yet (so apols is this is a repeat) but…… Hasn’t Kevin McDonald “managed” the Republic of Ireland with Steve Staunton when he was in charge?
And Robbie Keane would fit the bill for the player to “played under him”??
That was my theory in Mick Mc

Hitzfeld now 12/1 for the hot seat and no it wasn’t on Wikipedia.
we’ve stopped taking any bets on Hitzfeld at our place, Paddy Power are restricting all bets on him to £5 online.
Again proved to be bollocks as usual!
