Is Ireland to stay in Manchester and further Milner updates

Hat tip : H&V

If this is really Stephen Ireland’s twitter feed looks like he is going nowhere south of Manchester

staying in manchester!

If he is really staying at City and not moving to Bolton, Blackburn, Man U etc, we can only presume the stories of Milner deal being definitely off is correct

On the OS they have pictures of the training session and Milner features heavily, smiling. Also on the front page they have a link to the pictures and once again Milner features.

Are these signs he is going to stay ?

If I was Milner I would think very carefully about his next steps, If they want him that much they would pay the cash so how much do they really want him, is he just a stop gap on their way to universal domination.

Look at these quotes from City fans on BBC 606

Richardtheref

As a City fan i hope this is true. Just because you were ripped off by Newcastle you now feel that you can rip us off. No one on this earth can persuade me that he is worth more than 8 million. Another average English player whose club value him far higher than his talent deserves just coz its City.

We wont pay more than £24 million – £10 million more than he is actually worth.

Stay where the fans love you, the manager loves you.

Stay where you play in your true position and not as a utility player.

Stay where you made your name, forget the big bucks, some things are worth more than money.

Stay where you can be a Villa legend and England star

  1. not sure thats proof really

  2. Ireland is one of the few rare species with Mancity blood left in their team. Others came there for money. Sad to see the pathetic plight of Ireland, their player of the year in 2008.Just like Dunne, it seems Ireland has to bow out of city as Arabs and Italians dont like loyal players.

  3. If milner does go then we can bring in 3 or 4 good players which is good news but on the other hand if he stays then we have got a £25m rated player in our side which can only be a good thing. I really really do think that all we need is a goal scorer like kevin Doyle or robbie keane

  4. have you seen that twitterr ?
its got to be a fake

  5. AJ always sceptic but Bluemoon forum think it is real

  6. so if we dont sell milner how much money will we have?hope we have enough to get keane or Ibrahim Afellay.

  7. Richardtheref and Reverandfunk, are obviously the same person using different names, or the same person with a duel personality and are unaware who they are. UP THE VILLA

  8. Ireland will move because he doesn´t want to warm the bench. I´m with Rich smith, he´s absolutely right: we need a goalscorer. Somebody who can give us the extra goal, which turns our home draws in wins. And then we will get to a top 4 place.

  9. Ireland’s people say that he doesn’t have a Twitter account. This is according to Marc Stein, a (basketball) reporter here in the U.S. and diehard Man City fan: http://twitter.com/stein_line_HQ

  10. Lennon confirms that someone has bid for McGeady: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8871266.stm

  11. U a news reader texan! GET A LIFE!

  12. that is totally out of order micky

  13. im i the only one who just wants milner gone ?

  14. at the right price AJ, I would accept he should go

  15. I don’t think he should go, depending on how he plays in the Guardiana Cup and depending on if he’ll sign a new contract. If he plays well and he is willing, then I’d much rather keep him.
