Whilst it is not clear that playing in tonight’s CL qualifier against Braga would make McGeady ineligible for Villa in the Europa Cup he has been left out of the starting line up tonight. He has travelled but not even named as sub so he will be off, Spartak got to be favourites you would think.

It’s too simplistic to look at money in and money out. Most transfers these days are on payment terms that can stretch over years.

Guys, there is transfer funds thats not the issue. Lerner wants to cut the wage bill of high earners who dont play i.e NRC, Shorey & Sidwell etc before he sanctions signings.

It´s easy why we don´t rotate: because the fringe players are not good enough. And he has realised that fact. Therefore he will get rid of them.

you need a big squad and that cost money. But in our case the quality in the team isn´t good enough. So you stick with your best players. And we were lucky with injuries in the past. That could easily change, although I don´t hope so.

If you sign McGeady for 8-10 million then you are getting a steal. He is better than Milner. He’s only 24 and in 2 years time you can sell him to a bigger English team for 25million, easily. Keane is a great player, but will have no resale value.
I wish to God he’d see sense and stay at Celtic.
