First I have to say that today James Milner was one of the few England players who could hold their heads up high. He never disappeared, he was always available for the ball and some of his crosses were top quality.
Why did Capello take him off for the media´s darling Joe Cole who contributed nothing only Fabio can say.
But because of that performance I would say Man City will want him even more and the only question is when Milner decides to push it, after his holiday and before, could the long running drama be over very quickly or take even longer ?
He showed today for me all the qualities he posses and unfortunately the ones Man City will want.

I have to agree with what you said about our Jimmy Milner. He showed what real men are made of. He went for it heart and soul and i for one am proub to call him a villa player. He didn’t hide and when you look at players like ROONEY, GERRARD, LAMPARD, TERRY,etc. it has to be said that JIMMY is the future for ENGLAND. I feel sorry for him because it must have felt awful to be running round the pitch trying to affect the game but at the same time watching the senior pros not trying a leg. The senior ENG players are a gisgrace. They didn’t even go to the fans after the game and thank them for their support. All the senior players should never be allowed to pull on an ENG shirt again. I will go as far as calling them gutless. Gutless!!! Yes i said it twice. The FA won’t show the stones to drop these senior players. Primadonnas!!! Milner is a man. He showed the Fans that he cared about playing for his country!
