A possible new Villa shirt design, 30 year classic, updated

I posted here Stewart Kendrick’s interpretation of rumours of our new kits.

Well he has come up some example’s of our new kit if as some rumours say we are basing the new kit on the 30th anniversary of the championship. I have to say they are bloody gorgeous and would be fantastic as our new kit.

Please make it so Randy who loves our tradition so muc, the one thing with Randy we know is the home kit will never have bloody stripes !

  8. Can I just say that I know that these are NOT the kits for next season, and I know that ACORNS will most probably NOT be the sponsors. These tops are designed by me as a way of keeping on top of my photoshop skills as I am a freelance graphic designer. I wanted to see what a modern Villa top would look like in a retro style. If anyone would care to tell me what the new kits are like and possible sponsor I would gladly mock something up!

Yes my father works very closeley with the CEO of acorns and he has confirmed that acorns will only be a partner not a sponsor of shirts.

Any1 remember the last yellow away kit? I don’t know if it was for away but it was brought out for the FA Cup games5th and 6th round against swindon and Liverpool. We played Liverpool in the 6th round at Anfield and Michael Thomas scored the winner that day. I think it was 93 but don’t quote me on it. I’m not sure. I know it wasn’t 94 because we got knocked out in the 4th round at selhurst pk by Wimbeldon on Penalties. I remember that night vividly b’cos i met Nigel the violinist in the Clifden Arms on the corner of the Holmesdale end. Villa fans always met in their for games. The atmosphere that night was amazing. Standin’ behind the goal watchin each peno and going nuts when we scored, that was until Kevin Richardson missed and we were out of the cup…..

Sorry for getting a wee bit sidetracked there but i have great memories of going to selhurst pk on wk nights to watch games. Often went to watch Palace or the Dons if i couldn’t get to a villa game. Just to get a football fix, you know how it is!!!! Love those Jerseys. they look great.
