Another great result at home for us today huh guys?!! and maybe if Mon stopped talking in riddles the press wouldn’t be putting out these stories, at the end of the day we’ve now been linked with FOUR different managers, and as they say there’s no smoke without fire,

People talk about “progress” but i’d beg to differ, at the end of the day we’ve FAILED to win a cup and we’ve FAILED to finish any higher in the league, that’s the facts there in black and white, all we’ve done is stand still, and we’ve been doing that for the past three years despite being one of the biggest spenders in the league.

MON has done everything he can to say that these rumors are rubbish. So, now Lerner has to come out and confirm that MON will stay? What would be the basis for his firing MON anyway?

Totally agree with you Ian – I just wish the press would totter along and go play with some other football clubs’ manager and leave us to get on with providing some decent alternative the the “Sky 4″. We are obviously a threat and they are hoping to derail us. I hope MON sees it for what it is worth!

I’m also an avowed MoN fan because of the progress that we’ve unquestionably made under him and my belief that we will make further progress next year.
I have also not previously heard of a credible replacement that would take us further faster.
Having said that….Bilic is the first name I’ve heard mentioned that initially seems like a realistic and positive alternative.
Before any of us get too interested though there are two flaws to the rumour: 1) MoN is not leaving and 2) If Bilic is talking to a bigger club than West Ham, isn’t it more likely to be Liverpool?

News includes rumours and clearly some of the press believe MON is going though anything he said over the last few weeks would simply not back this up

These stories for some reason are out there and it is fair to discuss them just like on the forums

Obviously Ian you’re a big Mon fan which we’ve already discussed on VitalVilla many times but if you’re getting so “fed up of the rumours” then why are you even posting them? there not going away mate until Randy says publically that he wants Martin to stay,

Also it doesn’t help the credibility of this site when your posting about the story from a biased angle, you’ve made your position clear that you want the man to stay, but other fans such as myself believe that it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he did leave this summer,

Imo someone like Moyes would be far more effective with the money Randy would give him and the players we’ve got at the club.
