A Hull of a trip

Not long left in the season is it ?

Gone quick, yep ?

Enjoyable, yep think so

So another game, better to be away from home I suppose but against a team fighting for their lives managed by er…

Iain Dowie

No surprises on the team, we can all guess which one MON will put out and like at Portsmouth we have to go for it from the start, keep the bloody ball and create chances.

However this time we have to TAKE them, be more clinical because if we had been against Pompey then we could have won 5/6 nil. Hull are no great shakes, in fact since Dowie went there they have got worse and the defence has fell away this should be three points.

Then of course if we get them that we means we go into the Blues game on Saturday knowing that Tottenham will have played Man Utd and Man City will have played Arsenal

It is not inconceivable that we win the the next two we could be level on points with spurs and above Man City, with us still to play Man City and Spurs/Man City to come. We should never give up hope and hopefully MON is telling the lads exactly that.

  1. We are the eternal optimists aren’t we …….?

  2. why not still there to be played for, we could go into the Blues game 2 points in front of Liverpool and 3 behind Spurs

and then we look back at the Wolves, Sunderland, West Ham game (Everton draw is good) and think 6 extra points ??

  3. I noticed you missed a line out Ian.
    So, contrary to what some of your critics might have moaned about about, I’ll say it for you, because I know you’re thinking it;

    It’s another “must win”.

As are all of our remaining games.

“and then we look back at the Wolves, Sunderland, West Ham game”
I said at the time that we’d rue those games.
So bloody frustrating, but I guess Citeh and Spuds lost/drew silly games too.

  4. trying not to repeat myself all the time, these bloody previews the last two months could all have started with

    ‘must win game’ :-)

none of us seem to want top 4 but Spurs made huge steps none of us have done before

    now is our turn ?

  5. I’ve given up guessing what’s going to happen mate.

This season has been totally mad, the way results have gone, but d’ya know what?
It’s made it way more interesting purely because of the diversity of who could make the top 4.

Let’s hope the mugs that run the game have seen the same.

  6. the whole season is mad, some of the results would never have happened before and the points total to win it will be the lowest for years I guess and the number to survive the lowest since West Brom
