   hope young Delph is fit soon but its common knowledge that he is a bit of a mad head in training. ive heard that hes been told quite a few times that must stay on his in practice matches instead of lunging in on unsuspecting players.

   rumour is that he is the player that sidelined NRC and Harewood for the last few months with rash crunching challenges. And when Agbonlahor was injured in training recently Delph was immediately dropped from the squad for the next game…. enough said.

   i cant help thinking that Delph’s injury in training is a case of one of the players that he has previously nailed getting their own back!

   I hope not, but we did pick up a few injuries in training which we never before

   the lad has immense talent and lets hope he recovers fully

   Evidence of these claims please. Your last statement at best amounts to little more than your own opinion, at worst its simple malicious gossip of the type so often printed by those London hacks in the press. Rumours are two a penny. I think any self respecting Villa fan should have definite evidence before stating rubbish like this.

   I seriously hope this isn’t true – otherwise thats our future center midfield pairing sidelined with knee injuries! (delph and gary gardner!)

   Bill, ok this is not the whole story but here is a quote about Delph attributed to MON from sky sports in february.

   “Occasionally he has to be reminded that I need the players here. I don’t need him putting four boys in the treatment room to prove that he can tackle – he has to save that for match day.”
