  1. Come on the kids.

  2. “FULL TIME – Villa through to the final”

    Get in! :-)

  3. Great win, lads

    Well done!!

  4. Battered for the best part of 90mins and scrape through. Yep, sounds like “boring, boring Villa”.

  5. Mike, obviously a Newky fan then

considering our best player was out and your players more experienced what else do you expect us to do ?

  6. “Battered for the best part of 90mins and scrape through”

Yep, so boring, we scored and you didn’t.

I didn’t realise humbugs tasted bitter.

    Ha ha.

  7. Best team by far lost. Villa No 12 should have been off for reckless tackle which resulted in player leaving ground by ambulance. Villa goal was a own goal as it hit the post bounced back and in off the keeper. No sour grapes just frustrated that our team did put away a poor side.

  8. at the game

we have showed that over 4-5 years we are 1 of the best youth setups about

So if it means that this once we SCRAPE through then so shall be it

eye popper grape syndrome now go home and cry u northern muppets

    hahahahahaha booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

in your face you dirty northern geordies

  9. While the childish comments are a bit pathetic the sour grapes is equally pathetic. Nicking a goal and holding on is a standard away strategy that clearly worked this time.

Put simply Villa won away your lot could only draw, we get to the final.

    • Look this was an U18s match and I appreciate the business mentality that runs the game however if you were there you would have witnessed one team trying to play football and the other trying to stop them. Yes the tactics work but even though I am not neutral it is still a big disappointment. (not sour grapes or pathetic) Villa had a better keeper as he pulled off one quality reaction save, and Newcastle lacked composure in and around the box which happens at this age.

I also understand we lost but I also understand that our Academy is producing quality footballers and that for the first time in our history we appear to be getting things right.

      Is that clear enough
