The magnificent fans get just rewards as Warnock just whinges away

That was a great game of cup football, with both sides giving 100% and sportsmanship all over the field from two committed teams.

The Villa fans were MAGNIFICENT today and they deserved the late Petrov equaliser for the support alone. There was about 2000 there and they sung from first to final whistle and well done guys and gals.

As for Neil Warnock’s comments

I’m absolutely devastated. All my career I’ve had to battle against the odds. We played a Premier League team and worked our socks off. The first goal was a bit iffy but the second was a disgrace. It came off Delfouneso. The referee and linesman waited and waited and then gave a corner because it’s a Premier League team.

Well of course the corner was not one but on the balance of play we deserved the draw and replay but this idiot (who I do actually like) clearly forgets

the deliberate elbow by Alan Lee on Stephen Warnock, clear red

clear penalty not given after the foul on Ash young in the first 20 minutes

it is called Karma Neil, your team played well but we deserved the draw though it gives us plenty of headaches leading up to the League Cup final, I hope the ticket prices are reasonable for it.

  1. What load of shit.

Especially about your fans! 2,000??? Out of the 3,900 we allocated?!??!

Not to mention I was actually there and the fans signing from start to finish were wearing Red and Blue. As for Villa, barely a peep apart from about 4 times all match twice for the goals and a chorus of VILLA VILLA VILLA and ASTON VILLA! what a load of shite. I would be embarassed if that was OUR away support.

Oh and don’t worry ours will most likely sell out the full allocation and really will sing our hearts out for the full time 90 or 120 or so minutes!

    • palace4ever…what a fool.Everyone there and on the t.v could clearly hear the Villa support for large parts of the game.
It was a good cup match and both sides deserved the draw..and the cash from the replay might help palace keep going a while longer.Pointing the finger at other supporters and deriding them because you fail to see or hear the reality of the events does you no favours at all.If your support is so good concentrate on saving your team.

  2. I’ve got to say palace, I watched the match on BBC and I only heard one palace chant through the entire match after your second goal. I was immensely proud of the Villa support who sung from start to finish. Perhaps if you were sitting in the palace stand, you could just hear the people around you?

Let’s not be silly now, your team did well and apart from a horrible elbow from alan lee, there is a lot to be proud of. Don’t ruin that.

  3. I took my report of the fans from the TV, it helped we were directly below the TV gantry but we made an hell of a racket !!

like at VP really , in the lower holte we very rarely hear the away support.

  4. Great game spoiled by a fan who has only ever been to one home game, you always get one dick head who thinks they are bigger than one of the best supported clubs in the country , look at your gates, no don,t for a London club with millions of people available is a joke in it’s self

I watched the replay when I got back, even the commentators said they couldn’t remember the last time it was full.

Admit it, they all came out to see the Villa and see an upset and have a jolly old singalong to seagulls or whatever the nickname is

After you have been dumped from the cup next week the famous VP , you can go on other tin pot forums complaining about the away support.

One thing that is guranteed you will you nevre fill that shit hole again, us less the Villa visit of course

Villa away support is renowned throughout the premiership as one of the best if not the best.

Just maybe with one cup final coming up and this televised maybe a few have held on to their money

Of course you will sell you allocation when you come to the Villa, who wouldnt most of your fans have never seen a premiership ground and to see the famous Holte End is worth the visit alone, after all your derbies against Brentford next year are bound to be a 6000 sellout wow

Dont be surprised either if we dont fill VP, WEMBLEY in the same week, i’ll repaet that WEMBLEY in the same week, Palace who the the……………are Palace, grow up and make sure you take you full allocation to Peterborough, Barnsley, Preston etc

When you can do that come back and comment

    haha

UTV and dream on Palace for the game against the Villa

  5. was never pen on ashley young… he dived, and i thought lee used his arm for leverage…

however, the two incidents that were poor by the same linesman who gave the corner for our equaliser, were the offside against delph when he was clear through on goal, and the even more baffling offside against delfouneso, despite him being a good clear 10 yards onside…

two absolutely unbelievable decisions, that rank right up there with the corner decision that warnock is rightfully, complaining about…

nothing to do with us being a premier legaue side though, as the linesman was crap for both…
