Couple of things, firstly surely people who go to away games should get extra props for making the effort, and secondly my brother has been to I think 7-8 games home and away but has often bought more than one or two tickets for these games. He has made the effort to go to the less popular games as well as one or two of the big games. Surely it would make more sense to give people priority who have actually been to previous Carling Cup games where there is only about 22,000 people instead of glory hunters who only want to see ‘the big4′. Another problem is that both my brother and I have to work Saturdays so are unable to make a fair few games, if this wasn’t the case we would be season ticket holders.
Hmmph. Complaint over.

surely it should be games in total they should check ur bookin history an put u in a category i went to 25 games last season home and away and have done 12 home an away this time rd an i doubt il get a ticket i think its wrong

Of course Lee, when we got to the 1996 CC final we got 35k tickets, now we have wembley with 15k more capacity but 4000 less tickets

go figure

got to pay the cost somehow of the white Elephant with corporates and high prices for the rest of us.

Unfortuntely Wembley like most of this game now has “sold-out”! I dont mean in a ticket sense, in a commercial sense. 62,000 football fans and 28,000 neutrals will be at that game!

do any clubs, previous finals involving VillaI think have never counted away games.

I guess the theory goes that most who go to away games would fall under one of the catergories that would get tickets.

Home supporters should always get priority, the category for away supporters not going to many home games would be small I reckon.

there will be always a number unhappy, no system is perfect, every allocation rule would always find a number falling outside of it.
