Bad news today from Villa Park on the injury front

Nigel Reo-coker has been ruled out for 12 weeks, in effect the whole season with a fractured ankle after a injury in training las week.

The bigger blow however is that Stephen Warnock after limping out of the Brighton game with a shin injury is ‘not fantastic either‘.

This is very disappointing news with so many important games on the horizon and Warnock in particular has been superb for us. The news on NRC is equally a blow as he is cover for Petrov who also is carrying an injury !!

However this is an excellent opportunity for Delph to stamp his authority on the team.
