Petrov is out, obviously. Our mid field was thin to begin with, we go with Ashley Young, Reo-Coker, Sidwell, and Albrighton?!

If anybody has done more for himself this tourney then anyone it’s Albrighton, he’s impressed beyond any expectation.

Heskey needs to go with Carew upfront. Unless O’Neil plays Gabby next match.

Villa needs to sign a central midfielder and quick or last season was in vein. This squad will finish about 8th or 9th in the table as they stand. As hard as it is to admit. I feel like the Downing signing was just insurance if Ashley leaves for a bigger club. Couple that with the fact that Milner hasn’t logged a minute yet, and we are basically a team full of wingers. We need stability in the center of the park. Please make a move and quick!

Bent would be nice, but we have 3 solid strikers already, we need someone to pull the sting and create from the center of the pitch.
