Some more updates on the links we have seen.

Kyle Naughton today joined Spurs, I am disappointed at that he was always a major target for me but it appears we dropped any interest we had a while back. Even though I dislike Spurs I think they have a little gem with him.

Tim Borowski rejoined his old team Werder Bremen from Bayern, he was strongly linked a few weeks ago and maybe that was just agent talk, no big loss really.

Sylvain Disitin, when I posted 2 weeks ago that I had expected him to join soon for £3m this was based on very good information. It seems I was not the only one with this information as all the press expected the move. Well today Paul Hart the Pompey manager after their takeover has spoke about a transfer (something we never do) and said they had turned down a £2m bid from an unknown club and Disitin is not moving. Was my information wrong ? not sure but it had a lot of truth to it as a bid went in.

Brede Hangeland is rumoured at a centre of a bid from an unknown club. This also ties in wth a supposed £9m bid from Fulham for Hull’s giant central defender, Michael Turner. For me there is no way Turner and Hangeland can play in the same team and Hangeland has yet to sign an extended contract and whilst we have not been linked further I really hope we are interested he would be perfect for us.
