Distin signing imminent
I understand that the signing of Portsmouth’s (will they have any players left ?? ) centre back Sylvain Distin is expected within the next few days.
Signing ?
He is 31 years old and has been the mainstay of Portsmouth’s defence for the past few seasons and has generally been very good. The fee is expected to be around £3m and represents I think a very good deal for Villa giving us the dominating centre back we have missed since Laursen’s retirement.
