As we approach the 1st of July I understand things over the next few days could get hectic for MON and the photographer outside of Bodymoor Heath.

Signings very soon

From the information I have received and the very good source at Villatalk – MYSTERYMAN – signings are expected very shortly and even Bill Howell in his webchat last week on the Mail hinted as much the question is who will it be ?

That is of course the question we are asking but Bill and Mysteryman are talking of a player who was not linked as of Saturday but as he been linked yet. Bill in particular was talking of a name that would surprise a few, is for example Robbie Keane that man ?

But all these players so far are attacking ones, I agree we need one but the defensive need for me is far greater and the sooner we get Naughton signed up the better !

But rumours have persisted for a while we may go for a cheap but experienced Central defender, Distin and Campbell have been strongly linked but what about Upson who West Ham are desperate to tie down to an extended contract.
