Despite denials from Sheffield United it appears he is on his way after they appear to be gambling on paying £1.5m for Manchester City striker Ched Evans and another £1m on Watford pair Lee Williamson and John-Joe O’Toole.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Everton have bid for him but he favours a move to Villa who the Daily Star are claiming that MON is willing to pay up to £7m for him.
