Update on Transfer News

A quick update on the latest transfer news and gossip.

As you can see by the transfer rumours page it seems Harry Redknapp has once again been sticking his oar into places it was not needed and not warranted. This really does annoy me because all the information I have received over the past week indicates that any deal for Carew or Ash young is total bullshit (ignore my French), please ignore any links with Spurs would include these two.

However my sources do indicate we have a firm interest in Huddlestone and Bentley and that I have been told to expect moves both in and out of Villa Park within the next 7 days.

Is it, in the know rubbish or is it true, time will tell.

EDIT: Just after I posted this the NOTW prints a story saying a deal will be done for David Bentley by July 1st for half the £15m that Spurs paid, that would be to me a great deal and consisent with the information I noted above.
