    Such a sad sad day for all people connected to Aston Villa football club. Such a solid, rich defender, will really struggle to replace him.

    Looking at these images reminds me how much we are going to miss him as fans, let alone the players.

    The celebration agaisnt everton with Young is just brilliant, the goal agaisnt Ajax – two games i will never forgot, both for reasons containing Laursen.

    Just hope we stays on in a coaching role or something, and comes out at boro/newcastle at half time so we can give him a real Aston send off (similar to Melbery.

    what he had as seen by these and why I picked them was a passion ad a leadership, we have missed that when things started to go tits up and now we have to replace them and that is going to be MON’s true test !
